Friday, August 4

1983 WORLD SERIES LUNCHEON

The Orioles and the Oriole Advocates will also host a sold-out luncheon in the Warehouse, recognizing the returning members of the 1983 team, including National Baseball Hall of Famer JIM PALMER, MIKE BODDICKER, AL BUMBRY, STORM DAVIS, RICK DEMPSEY, DAN FORD, GLENN GULLIVER, TITO LANDRUM, TIPPY MARTINEZ, SCOTT McGREGOR, DAN MOROGIELLO, ALLAN RAMIREZ, GARY ROENICKE, LENN SAKATA, JOHN SHELBY, KEN SINGLETON, JOHN STEFERO, and BILL SWAGGERTY.

CITY CONNECT FRIDAY

The Orioles will wear their City Connect jerseys for every Friday home game for the remainder of the season. Fans can purchase their City Connect gear at the Team Store located along Eutaw Street, or at the pop-up team store along the third base line. As part of City Connect Friday, in-game music will feature local Baltimore artists. To learn more about the Orioles' City Connect uniforms, visit Orioles.com/CityConnect.

CITY CHANGEMAKER: Nykidra "Nyki" Robinson

As part of the City Connect City Changemakers series, the Orioles will recognize an individual who is making a difference in the City of Baltimore at each Friday home game. This week the Orioles will recognize ROBINSON, the founder and CEO of Black Girls Vote. Black Girls Vote empowers and mobilizes African American women to advocate for the various issues that impact them and their families through voting. Prior to founding Black Girls Votes, Robinson served as a Neighborhood Liaison in Baltimore City’s Mayor’s Office, Director of Outreach in Maryland’s Lt. Governor’s Office, and as a Special Assistant to the Director for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. The also Orioles donated 100 tickets to Black Girls vote for Friday's game.

GIVEAWAY: City Connect Poster

The first 15,000 fans will receive a CITY CONNECT POSTER.

PREGAME PERFORMANCE: Caleb Stine Band

The CALEB STINE BAND, a Baltimore-based band, will perform for fans at the Centerfield Roof Deck from 6-6:45 p.m.

98 ROCK NIGHT AT ORIOLE PARK

98 ROCK NIGHT will include live music, photo opportunities, meet & greets with 98 Rock talent, and an in-game 98 Rock takeover. JUSTIN SCHLEGEL, of Justin, Scott, and Spiegel, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and KIRK MCEWEN of the Boom Boom Room, will announce the starting lineups prior to the game.

BARCS PET ADOPTION EVENT

BARCS’ BFF WAGON will be at Oriole Park outside of Gate C, all weekend for fans interested in adopting a dog or cat. All adoption fees will be waived for individuals who adopt on-site. All fans, with or without a game ticket, are invited to come visit the BFF Wagon. Those with game tickets can adopt their new bff at the end of the game.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Joseph Parrish

PARRISH will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. He will also perform "This Land is Your Land" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

ALUMNI AUTOGRAPHS: Tippy Martinez, Gary Roenicke, and Bill Swaggerty

O's alumni, TIPPY MARTINEZ, GARY ROENICKE, and BILL SWAGGERTY will be on Eutaw Street, near the New Era cap store, from 6-7 p.m. signing autographs for fans, free of cost.

FRIDAY FIREWORKS, presented by J.F. Johnson Lumber Company

All fans are invited to stay for FRIDAY FIREWORKS, presented by J.F. Johnson Lumber Company, postgame.

Saturday, August 5

GIVEAWAY: Eddie Murray 1983 World Series Bobblehead, presented by Royal Farms

The first 20,000 fans 15 & over will receive an EDDIE MURRAY 1983 WORLD SERIES BOBBLEHEAD, presented by Royal Farms.

PREGAME CEREMONY:1983 World Series Championship Reunion

The Orioles will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1983 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP with a special pregame ceremony. More than 20 members of that 1983 Championship team will be in attendance at the game, including Orioles Legends and National Baseball Hall of Famers JIM PALMER, EDDIE MURRAY, and CAL RIPKEN, JR. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:20 p.m. to enjoy the festivities.

IN THE COMMUNITY: Alumni Clinic with Eddie Murray

The Orioles will host a group of kids from the YMCA of Central Maryland at Weinberg for an Alumni Clinic at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The clinic, which will teach the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and base running, will be hosted by National Baseball Hall of Famer and Orioles Legend and Community Ambassador, EDDIE MURRAY.

BARCS PET ADOPTION EVENT

WILSON will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. He will also perform "America the Beautiful" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

COLOR GUARD: Baltimore County Police Department

The BALTIMORE COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT will present the colors from the field during the national anthem.

EARLY BIRD SATURDAY

Gates will open to fans two hours prior to first pitch before every Saturday home game this season. This Saturday, UNCLE JESSE, a 90s and 2000s cover band, will perform for fans in Legends Park from 5-6:20 p.m. Fans can enjoy special happy hour deals at Legends Park from 5-6 p.m., including select $5.00 16 oz. domestic beers, as well as $2.50 soft pretzels and popcorn. Players will sign autographs for fans along the field during this time.

Sunday, August 6

IN THE COMMUNITY: Swinging For Impact with Kyle Gibson

Orioles pitcher Kyle Gibson, along with Big League Impact and the Baltimore Orioles, will host a SWINGING FOR IMPACT event at Top Golf Baltimore after Sunday’s game. Proceeds from the event will benefit City of Refuge Baltimore, a faith-based organization that helps individuals and families transition out of crisis. Several Orioles players will be in attendance at the event.

SAVAL will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. She will also perform "God Bless America" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning.

MILITARY SUITES: The Salute Military Golf Association

The Orioles will recognize veterans from THE SALUTE MILITARY GOLF ASSOCIATION as part of their Military Suite Program. As a thank you for their service, the Orioles will provide them with a complimentary catered suite and O’s military-themed hats and t-shirts. The Orioles will also recognize them with an in-game welcome on the scoreboard. The Salute Military Golf Association provides rehabilitative golf programs, experiences, and family inclusive golf opportunities for post-9/11 veterans.

Monday, August 7

IN THE COMMUNITY: Boys and Girls Club Baseball Clinic

The Orioles and Oriole Bird will host a baseball clinic for members of the BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF WESTPORT. More than 30 children will participate in the clinic, learning the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and base running.

Tuesday, August 8

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Michelina DeVeas

DeVEAS will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

FIRST PITCH: Turnstile

Members of TURNSTILE, a Grammy nominated, Baltimore-based punk band, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

HEROES CORNER: National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

The Orioles donated game tickets to the NATIONAL FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS FOUNDATION as part of their Heroes Corner program. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation focuses on honoring and remembering America's fallen heroes, providing resources to assist their families. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way to say thank you and show appreciation to frontline workers and volunteers in our community.

IN THE COMMUNITY: Maryland Public Libraries Summer Reading Program Night

The Orioles donated 2,100 total tickets to public libraries across Maryland as part of the Summer Reading Program initiative. More than 1,000 participants from 21 counties, as well as staff from the Maryland State Library and Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled, received tickets to the game. Summer reading program participants will attend the game to celebrate completing their respective county library’s summer reading program requirements.

Wednesday, August 9

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Vincent Sandroni

SANDRONI will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

FIRST PITCH: Johnathon Schaech

SCHAECH, an actor and Baltimore native, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

IN THE COMMUNITY: P.L.A.Y. Clinic

The P.L.A.Y. Clinic will be led by Head Athletic Trainer, BRIAN EBEL, members of the Orioles Athletic Training Staff, Taylor Hooten Foundation, and Henry Schein Cares Foundation at Oriole Park for members of the South Baltimore Little League. As part of the clinic, the little leaguers will complete drills, learn about the importance of proper nutrition and the danger of steroids, and participate in a Q&A with a current Orioles player.

HEROES CORNER: World Central Kitchen

The Orioles donated game tickets to WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN as part of their Heroes Corner Program. World Central Kitchen provides meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises, helping devastated communities recover and establish resilient food systems. Founded in 2021, the Heroes Corner program serves as a way to say thank you and show appreciation to frontline workers and volunteers in our community.

CHARLES will perform his rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game.

FIRST PITCH: Lee Sassi

SASSI, a WWII Purple Heart and Gold Star recipient, celebrate his 101st birthday by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. An avid baseball player and fan, Stassi has collected every Oriole player card since the team moved to Baltimore in 1954.
